The Medica chair is designed for multiuser environments and is very effective in a hospital ward and or similar clinical environments. It has been designed and further improved based on patient and staff feedback on the product and their requirements in a clinical environment.
Powered adjustable seat height and seat depth ensures ease of use and therefore meets the needs of a wide range of people due to adjustability. The powered tilt in space is an excellent feature and the anterior tilt assist is used to assist sit to stand transfers, early mobilisation and beneficial to rehab plans.

Rechargeable battery
A long-lasting rechargeable battery system means the chair can operate anywhere in the environment, and being mobile can be used as a porter chair.
The dimensions are simply and quickly adjusted (seat height and seat depth) via the handset control, then once the client is seated, the tilt-in-space function can be used to aid positioning and reduce risk of pressure sores.
Compatible with all patient transfers
The Medica will suit users who are independently mobile, use a stand aid, a mobile hoist or a ceiling track hoist. The design allows easy transfers for carers and/or nurses. Both armrests will flip up to allow side access for independent or assisted transfers to a bed or wheelchair.
