We’ve always believed that care is about making people’s lives better. And that means sustainability must also be baked in – because waste and emissions have impacts that are diametrically opposed to the ethos of care.
When care is sustainable, sustainability becomes an additional benefit for patients, further boosting their wellbeing by caring not just for them, but for the environment they live in, too. Simon Campbell, Managing Director.
Our official sustainability brochure, Care for People | Care for Planet, outlines our approach
We go to great lengths to embed sustainability into the fabric of our business, aiming to be carbon neutral by 2045. But this sustainability brochure is more than a list of targets: it’s a transparent look at our credentials across a range of areas, aligned with our customers’ agendas.
Our sustainability strategy is built on three pillars: Circularity, Responsibility and Positive Impacts.
- Circularity
Our products have a longer-than-average life expectancy and are cleverly designed for recyclability. This is good for the environment and for clients, too – because it reduces how often equipment must be replaced (as well as reducing overall costs).
Read how we helped one of our council partners achieve an unheard-of 100% recyclability rate and cut costs by 55% over three years.[AG2]
- Responsibility
Sustainability can’t exist in a vacuum, which is why we address the direct and indirect impacts of our operations. This includes:
- Investing in solar and hybrid vehicles: Since our solar panels went live in July 2025, we’ve already cut CO2 emissions by 14.33 tonnes, equivalent to 8 trees.
- Supporting our people: We’re a family business, and we treat our staff as such. From certifications and career support to Mental Health First Aid programmes, we ensure our team is supported so they can provide the best care.
- Meeting high standards: We're ISO 9001-certified and accredited with CHAS, ConstructionLine Gold, SMAS Worksafe and TrustMark – which means we meet a very high bar for quality, ethical business practices and health and safety standards.

- Positive impacts
Alongside doing what’s medically required, we make sure our products blend with the environment – making spaces look comfortable and inviting instead of giving them the stereotypical ‘care’ look. We also contribute to initiatives that make public venues more accessible to people with disabilities and enhance the wellbeing of the community as a whole.

Proud to be part of a responsible supply chain
Sustainability is care, because human health and the environment are inextricably linked. By providing sustainable products, we're enhancing quality of life and outcomes for people and the planet.
At the same time, our approach helps our clients become more sustainable. As leaders in care equipment supply and installation, we’re trusted by the NHS, councils, housing associations and care homes, as well as project partners for accessible venues, schools and leisure centres.
We take that trust seriously, and are committed to contributing to their sustainability journeys, too. Together, let’s ensure that we continuously improve the way we care for people and our planet.
