How we help our clients

Introduction

Whether you’re an OT prescribing care equipment or an architect designing a Changing Places facility, you get a friendly, efficient service from start to finish. This includes assisting with research through to choosing your equipment and ongoing training for staff.

The staff here at Wealden Rehab are fully trained, knowledgeable and at hand to answer any questions – we want to ensure that you purchase the most suitable equipment and that your client receives the greatest benefit from it.

Our Process

Assessment

We start with a series of questions about the user, covering everything from medical history to the equipment they’re currently using. Then we go into detail about your requirements, from posture and pressure care through to comfort and independence.

We also consider the carer’s needs. For instance, a shower chair or ceiling lift's efficacy can be limited by the accuracy of the transfer into it. When recommending a product, we make sure it’s one that carers can use easily and safely.

We never try to force a piece of equipment on a client – we always ensure the products we recommend are suited to the user.

Quotation

We understand your time pressures, so you get itemised quotes within 24 hours.

Architects and contractors get CAD drawings fast, so the project stays on track. We even have a standard recommended Changing Places room design, so you can hit the ground running.

Installation

You get next-day delivery on many items, including a white glove service straight to the room from our in-house team.

For design and installation projects, we’re normally one of the last subcontractors on site – most of our equipment is fitted to decorated surfaces or placed in rooms almost ready for occupation. With this in mind, we work quickly, delivering projects on time so the investments start paying for themselves.

Training, maintenance and service

We train carers who will be using the equipment each day, if appropriate. And we offer longer warranties and optional service contracts so you can have a fully serviced solution. That way it’s easy to stay compliant with relevant regulations, maintain your CQC audit trail – and get the most value out of your equipment.
