In 2018 we are celebrating our first 15 years in business with the launch of a new website to help the many talented people who support those with complex needs.
This website includes educational material and product selectors for occupational therapists, care homes, councils, schools, architects, users and their families.
Ben Campbell, Director at Wealden Rehab commented:
“When we talk with OTs, architects, headteachers, care home managers – and all the other stakeholders involved in making care-related decisions for complex needs– there’s very often some confusion about equipment features and the relative benefits it can bring.
What features should you look for? How do you know if a piece of equipment will work with a user’s unique combination of requirements? How long will this piece of equipment last?
And if these specialists struggle, then users and their families are in an even more challenging position. Since we started Wealden Rehab 15 years ago, our mission has always been to help our customer through that decision-making process. The new website is the latest step on that journey, and underlines our commitment to providing an investment experience which is superior in every respect”
The new website features articles, videos and case studies spanning seating, bathing and hygiene, moving and handling, sleeping, design & installation, and Changing Places. Designed to aid visitors to find information quickly includes everything from specification tips to pressure management research.
“Collaboration is key when it comes to delivering the best possible care. We add value to that discussion with our incisive insight and knowledge of product capabilities. Through our online resources, educational events and joint assessments, we will continue to work with our partners to help them achieve the very best outcomes and best value.” added Ben.
