
The architects worked with our Project Lead, Dale Campbell, to come up with solutions for all the class and hygiene rooms that required hoist coverage.
The star of the project is the large XY system over the new hydrotherapy pool, which features two separate locking-gate systems which allow the lifting pod to move from pool-side into the adjacent changing rooms.
Sarah Thorp, Head of Key Stage 2, gave us her feedback on the installation, including her insights into why overhead hoists are such an indispensable tool for this type of environment.
