1. Premium – Adult Barella

Our most popular model, the Adult Barella's robust structure is built for the most challenging environments, making it ideal for many care settings including leisure centres, care homes, and hospitals. This shower trolley is suitable for users with even the most complex needs and offers an increased weight capacity of 180kg. Key features include:

• Extremely stable platform
• Anti-corrosion process making it suitable for the toughest environments
• Strong stainless steel folding side rails as standard
• Higher than average side rails allowing it to be used as a shallow bath
• Adjustable height between 610mm – 1000mm

The Adult Barella is also available in a ‘Wide Top’ version providing a generous platform width of 900mm. This gives the carer space to roll the user with better access to complete personal procedures. It also provides more space for users with cognitive or behavioural issues who may become anxious when situated in an enclosed area.

2. Innovative - Wave

The innovative design of the Wave shower trolley provides maximum support and comfort for the user. It is a superb solution for bathing in multi-user environments yet has been aesthetically designed to look good in the home. The Wave has a fully electric profiling platform that allows you to optimise the position of the user at the touch of a button. The handset also controls the height adjustment and allows the platform to tilt in both Trendelenburg and anti-Trendelenburg directions. Key features include:

If you want a good all round shower trolley at a cost-effective price then look no further. The Coral is a versatile trolley, offering a host of standard features with a safe working load of 200kg. The versatile shower trolley is ideal for multi-user spaces and in the home. The Coral is supplied with a fixed angle of 3 degrees, to allow effective drainage, and comes with a strong liner with high sides (for additional protection) with inbuilt channels to help the flow of water. Key features include:

• Choice of electric or hydraulic models for height adjustment
• Generous size platform - 2085 x 810mm
• Foldable side rails with safety mechanism
• Central braking system
• Mattress, drain hose, plug and head pillow included
• 200kg safe working load

Which shower trolley is best for paediatric users?

Wealden Rehab has two shower trolley options for paediatric use. This includes our Paediatric Barella, which is our premium offering, and our Coral Junior, a more  cost effective option.

1. Premium - Paediatric Barella

The Paediatric model has been designed to accommodate children and small adults and is ideal in small areas due to its compact footprint. With a smaller chassis and reduced weight capacity, the Paediatric Barella still offers a generous platform size and a superb lifting frame, which guarantees stability at every working height. Key features include:

The Coral Junior is supplied with a fixed angle platform, just 3 degrees, to allow effective drainage, and comes with a strong liner with high sides (for additional protection) with inbuilt channels to help the flow of water. Which shower trolley is best for Bariatric users?

For our Bariatric offering, we have three models available at Wealden Rehab. These include the Bariatric Barella, our premium option and the Coral Maxi 80 and 90, which are our cost-effective options.

1. Premium - Bariatric Barella

This Bariatric Barella shower trolley comes with a wide top to provide space for hygiene and handling, and a heavy-duty chassis providing a SWL (Safe Working Load) of 245kg. The shower trolley comes with features renowned with the Barella range, along with twin electric actuators which combine to provide effortless lifting and platform tilt. Its detachable battery pack provides power whilst the trolley is moved around, plus the overall width can be effortlessly reduced by attendants when transporting through doorways, by folding in the side rails.

It can be used in multi-user environments as well as looking great in the home setting. Key features include:
