Electronic Bidet seats are the perfect addition to a toilet where you wish to promote independence but there are budget constraints. The bidet is designed to connect to a current toilet and this makes it a perfect, cost-effective solution for most able clients. Many professionals will be quick to consider this as their first option, as this product functions perfectly and is quicker than fitting a brand-new toilet.

But many users of the bidets require support whilst toileting, and especially if the condition is expected to deteriorate at some point you will need to consider ways to provide this. The normal and obvious option to increase support would be to provide a shower/toileting chair, such as the RAZ AP. However, there can be significant problems in compatibility, as the bulk of the workings of the bidet are now sitting on the top of the toilet pan, and will conflict with the hygiene chair frame.
The best solution to this issue is to install a complete toilet, such as the Closomat Palma Vita or Geberit AquaClean 8000plus Care. Whilst this does represent a higher level of investment, the outcomes are immeasurably better and will be a long-term resolution.
Within our RAZ shower chair range we have several chairs that are compatible for Geberit and Closomat toilet systems.
