This means the Government will match-fund the costs of installing Changing Places in existing buildings in England.
“Where people shop, go out, or travel should not be determined by their disability” Rishi Sunak
The Changing Places vision is all about providing high specification changing and toileting areas for the disabled community. It has long since been established that many disabled people require a better-equipped area for care when away from home.
Wealden Rehab has united behind this incentive, equipping Changing Places all around the UK. We are proud to have been involved in the completion of many projects throughout the UK. Check out our latest case studies here.
There is also news that by the end of the year a decision will be made on making the inclusion of Changing Places compulsory in new buildings.
