Working together, Staying apart

Our team has adapted to these unique circumstances by using multiple platforms to stay connected to you.

In the current circumstances, we have been using various platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype and WhatsApp video call to stay connected with clinicians, patients, care teams and product advisors.

These platforms have allowed our team to carry out remote assessments on clients who can’t be visited. This has meant we have been able to continue providing this service without putting anyone at risk.

Our team has provided remote training using these platforms to over 20 OT teams around the country. We have provided training on various products such as RAZ chairs, Saros chairs and GoLift hoisting.

Adapting quickly to the fast-changing landscape, we have created three assessment areas to simulate a living room, bedroom and bathroom scenario. This enables us to demonstrate to patients how equipment works in a similar environment to theirs and the benefits it can bring to them, their families and their care team.

WhatsApp has proved great for 1-1 communications as its flexible and fast. Microsoft Teams has been useful for hosting remote team training sessions and has integrated into our current systems very well. Zoom and Skype have also provided safe and secure platforms for our team to host training sessions with larger groups and has allowed the team stay connected with each other while some are working from a home environment.

If you would like to join a remote training session, require a remote assessment or have any other questions, click here to book an appoitment or call us on 08456588411.
